Why do teenagers leave a half-eaten box of crackers on the counter but the empty ones in the cabinet?

because that is just the way we are...we also leave empty milk jugs and empty boxes in the cabinet! i don't know why! OH and we leave the empty toilet paper roll on the thingy in the bathroom so that when someone goes to s h i t they are out! it's funny!Why do teenagers leave a half-eaten box of crackers on the counter but the empty ones in the cabinet?
