If Jesus were to give a speech to today's youth (particularly teenagers) what would he say?

An up-to-date modern version of Matthew Chapters 5-7. I'm sure that he would look at the Christian faith and be both proud and disappointed. Would he have the same feelings for the church leaders as he did the Pharisees? He felt that you should do what the Pharisees say from a ';law'; perspective but not to act they way they acted.


If Jesus were to give a speech to today's youth (particularly teenagers) what would he say?
He might say something like: Hi. I see things are getting pretty rough for you all. Divorces, fighting, diseases, addictions, loneliness. Half of you don't get to know your father. Half are hungry, broke.... feels like you are losing the battle to greed and pride and just general meanness. Well, you are right, you are losing the battle, but it's just birth pangs. Come closer, ... this is what we're gonna do. If Jesus were to give a speech to today's youth (particularly teenagers) what would he say?
love everyone, no exceptions, just love.





(Or maybe 'crucify me again, because the first time did not really seem to take away the sins of the world since the majority is still being damned to hell, so let's try one more time')
He'd say love God as much as She loves you and be kind to your neighbor, and then he'd go after the loudmouth fundies and call them a bunch of liars and hatemongers using his and God's name to promote thier own agendas

He would start by explaining that in his absence, his copyright has been misused. A lot.
Stay morally clean, listen to your parents, study the scriptures and the gospel, pray often.

Don't believe in false idols (through marketing). Even though I'm an atheist, even I would go to his meetings on this one!!!
