Phillip Pullman Northern Lights trilogy will do you fine I think. Or move into the classics. Have you tried Dickens? Read David Copperfield, or try The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins, the first book with a detective in in. If you're female then it is definitely time to read Jane Eyre. Good luck - there are so many great books out there, it's great that you're looking for them.
Go Ask Alice.

The Lovely Bones.
the Looking glass wars, its fantasy fictional and is the story of Alyss princess of wonderland...It isn't as cheesy as it sounds its pretty cool. They are already writing a screen play for it i think

I like romantic comedies and although I have a really high reading level, I love to read books that are easy readers, but at the same time still for teens. I don't know if you will like these, but I'll tell you them anyways:

1)A Chinese Cinderella- Adeline Yen Mah (not a romantic comedy, a true story, and it gives you a lot of emotions)

2) The Princess and the Pauper- Kate Brian

3) Lucky T- Kate Brian

4) Any of the Simon Pulse Romantic comedy for teen books (all by different authors, but the same genre)

5) Skellig- David Almond

6) The Last to Know- Melissa Hill

7) The Clique Series by Lisi Harrison

8) S.A.S.S series (all different authors- S.A.S.S= students across the seven seas)

9) I'd Tell You I love you, but then i'd have to kill you- ally carter (she has other books with the same characters.
The blue blood series are AMAZING

also What I Saw and How I Lied by Judy Blundell
Speak by Laurie Hess Anderson and the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld
