From a LoT of experience I would say 3 years


Like 13 and 16, 14 and 17, 15 and 18(if legal), 16 and 19(if legal), 17 and 20(it actually seems a lot because it's 20 and younger than 18), 18 and 21, 19 and 22.

16 is the youngest age for a teen to date. 16 and 18, then, are ok.
